The Alaca Public Education Center, located in the Alaca district of Çorum, Türkiye, serves as the Coordinating Organization for the Aromatic Horizons project. Operating under the Ministry of National Education, our center is a primary hub for adult education, vocational training, and cultural preservation in the region.
Who We Are
Since our establishment, we have been dedicated to the philosophy of “Lifelong Learning.” We believe that education does not end at school; it is a continuous journey that empowers individuals to adapt to a changing world. Our center provides a wide array of courses ranging from traditional handicrafts and literacy programs to modern information technology and agricultural training.
We serve a diverse demographic, including young adults seeking employment, women entering the workforce, and individuals in rural areas looking to upskill. Our mission is to make high-quality education accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or education level.
Our Role in “Aromatic Horizons”
As the coordinator of this Erasmus+ KA210-ADU project, Alaca Public Education Center assumes the primary responsibility for the successful management and implementation of Aromatic Horizons.
Our specific roles include:
- Project Management: Overseeing the overall timeline, budget management, and administrative coordination between partners in France, Slovakia, and the Netherlands.
- Curriculum Leadership: Leveraging our experience in vocational training to guide the development of the educational modules on sustainable agriculture.
- Local Implementation: Organizing pilot trainings for adult learners in the Alaca region, testing the new methodologies in a real-world rural context.
- Communication: Acting as the main point of contact for the National Agency and ensuring seamless communication within the consortium.
