At the core of the Aromatic Horizons project lies a dedicated mission to transform adult education in rural areas. Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, our primary goal is to equip adult learners with the essential skills needed to thrive in the fields of aromatic plant cultivation, sustainable agriculture, and agricultural entrepreneurship.
We believe that by merging traditional agricultural heritage with modern, sustainable business models, we can create lasting economic and environmental value for communities across Europe.
Strategic Goals
To achieve our vision between 2025 and 2027, the Aromatic Horizons project focuses on specific, measurable objectives designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application:
- Developing Comprehensive Training Curricula: We are creating 3 specialized training modules focused on Aromatic Plants, Sustainable Agriculture, and Entrepreneurship. These resources are designed to upskill adults, providing them with up-to-date knowledge on eco-friendly farming techniques and business management.
- Digital Innovation: A key objective is the creation of the Aromatic Plants Digital Catalogue. This multilingual, open-access resource will feature detailed profiles of at least 20 aromatic plants, offering crucial data on cultivation requirements and commercial potential to aspiring entrepreneurs.
- Capacity Building & Pilot Implementation: We aim to directly impact learners by conducting pilot trainings for 120 adult learners across our partner countries (Turkey, France, Slovakia, and the Netherlands). These sessions will test our educational materials and provide hands-on experience to participants.
- Strengthening International Cooperation: Through 3 Transnational Project Meetings, we aim to foster a deep exchange of best practices and cultural knowledge between our partner organizations, strengthening the network of adult education providers in Europe.
- Dissemination of Results: To ensure the project has a lasting legacy, we will organize 4 Multiplier Events. These events will share our findings, intellectual outputs, and success stories with a wider audience, stakeholders, and policymakers.
