At the heart of every successful Erasmus+ project lies a strong, cohesive partnership. While digital communication allows us to stay in touch daily, there is no substitute for the synergy created during our Transnational Project Meetings (TPMs). These gatherings serve as the strategic milestones of the Aromatic Horizons project, ensuring that our goals are met and our vision remains unified across four different countries.
The Pulse of the Project
Throughout the lifecycle of Aromatic Horizons, representatives from our partner organizations in Türkiye, France, Slovakia, and the Netherlands come together at key intervals. These meetings are not merely administrative formalities; they are intensive working sessions where the blueprint of our project is drafted, reviewed, and refined.
What happens at a Transnational Meeting?
Each meeting is hosted by a different partner, allowing the consortium to experience the local agricultural context of that region. A typical agenda includes:
- Progress Monitoring: We review the status of our Intellectual Outputs—the Training Modules and the Digital Catalogue. Partners present their work-in-progress, and we collectively troubleshoot any challenges.
- Quality Control: Detailed discussions ensure that the educational materials meet the high standards required by the Erasmus+ programme and are culturally relevant for all target groups.
- Planning the Future: We create detailed action plans for the upcoming months, scheduling pilot trainings, multiplier events, and dissemination activities.
- Financial and Administrative Management: Ensuring transparency and compliance with budget regulations is a standing item on our agenda.
Beyond the Meeting Room
These visits also provide a unique opportunity for cultural and technical exchange. Visiting local aromatic plant farms or educational centers in the host country gives us fresh perspectives and inspiration, which we then incorporate into our training materials.
