A new era in adult education and sustainable agriculture begins with the first official gathering of international partners in Türkiye.
ALACA, ÇORUM – On Monday, December 1, 2025, the official opening ceremony and kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ KA210 project, “AromaticHorizons4Adults,” was held at the Alaca District Governor’s Office Conference Hall. Coordinated by the Alaca Public Education Center, the event marked the formal beginning of an ambitious partnership between Türkiye, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and France.
A Strategic Collaboration for Adult Learning
The meeting saw a high level of attendance from local authorities, educators, and stakeholders. Aynur ERTÜRK, the project coordinator, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the project’s vision. The core focus of the session was the strategic importance of international cooperation in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants within the framework of adult education.
Goals and Expected Outcomes
During the presentation, the general objectives, activity roadmap, and the specific roles of each partner institution were shared with the participants. The AromaticHorizons4Adults project aims to:
- Enhance the knowledge and skills of adult learners through the theme of aromatic plants.
- Develop innovative and sustainable educational approaches following the principle of lifelong learning.
- Create lasting and scalable project outputs by merging local expertise with international best practices.
Building Bridges Between Nations
The kick-off meeting provided an essential platform for partners to discuss the technical details of the upcoming Digital Catalog and Training Modules. Beyond the technical sessions, the event fostered a spirit of cooperation and cultural exchange.
The ceremony concluded with productive discussions on strengthening international ties and a formal gift presentation to the visiting partners from the Netherlands, Slovakia, and France, symbolizing the friendship and shared goals of the consortium.
